#1172 Saturday 20 June

It's a cool overcast day with a spit of rain now and then ..... a good day for bricklaying.   Kaylia thinks it's a good day to be in the outside bath!!! Brrrr!  I spose its to be expected since she began the day with a cold shower!

Now ..... after about half an hour outside .... she's moved inside for a hot water bubble bath...... very sensible.  ..... except that she's filled the bath with cold water.   

On Monday Kaylia will begin therapy again.   Now that she has funding from the National Disabilty Insurance we can arrange it once more.

It's just occurred to me that Kaylia is content to be at home after school these days ..... it's a big change from the old days when she needed diversions and entertainment at all times.  Today she has been just wandering round singing away ..... and asking how long till she can go to the dentist again!

#1170 Wednesday 17 June

Wot a day!  Naomi is quite crook .... not happy at all ..... Hannah is not much better ..... and Kaylia is home from school and not happy cos she wants to be at school!  Phew!

I was upstairs tending to Naomi and I could hear Kaylia screeching away in the bath ..... it's very handy .... I can tell from the tone of the screech whether she is happy, unhappy, or needing attention.

#1169 Tuesday 16 June

Kaylia was sent home today .... with "ringworm " ..... which a misnomer as it is not a worm at all ... it's a fungal infection.  Anyway.... she gets to stay home for a day or two .... and she doesn't like that at all.

Then tonight she managed to pull off a tooth crown!  She's had a couple of baby teeth come out recently and she yanks them out .... low pain .... so she's apparently working at the other teeth to see if she can pull any others out ..... and the dental crown wasn't able to withstand her efforts!

The trip to Busselton went well .... Kaylia could hardly stop telling us about how she likes Busselton ..... but at the same time she was often seeking reassurance that she would still be going to school on Monday!  She needs her routine.   We've booked another 3 night stay in three weeks time .... the start of the term holidays.
