Phew .... I feel shattered .... after a day on the front desk at the office.

Chinese for tea tonight.  Kaylia has adopted lemon chicken as her favourite.

#1322 Tuesday 17 August

Gee it's hard to be a parent at times.   When Kaylia is sobbing her heart out from the pain, ..... and we can't do anything for her...... its so hard.

Today the school reported that she was in a lot of pain after a sport session .... she pushed her back against a wall and said "back... back".  The amount of painkillers she needs is a worry .... but there doesn't seem to be any alternative.

Despite all the pain she is mostly happy.

Today we will take Kaylia to be measured for a back brace.   I really hope she accepts the wearing of the brace ..... I think it will be very good for her.

Evening:
It was amazing!  They used a special attachment on an ipad to make a 3D image of her body ..... this can then be used to construct the back brace.

#1320 Sunday 14 August

Hippy Birdy to me!  Its a sweet day .....  lots of nougat!

We had lashings of bacon for breakfast ..... then headed over to Maxine's for a lunch of roast beef ..... followed by the famous ........ "Naomi's Cheesecake"!

Then it was head for home ..... and Kaylia spent the next hour or so in the bubble bath!

She's very happy.
