Introspection..... we are in tragic times where our whole existence is threatened by two lunatics. I have been reading an analysis of the battle of Stalingrad in December 1942 .... accounts from the diaries of soldiers and officers.... the pointless deaths of hundreds of thousands of soldiers....  who were refused permission to live by a lunatic who required a symbolic - not victory because no victory was possible.... but the lunatic required an idea .....  and by February 1943 the lunatic had demanded that 300,000 men die to satisfy the idea.

And now we have a lunatic in the east who has demanded that 1,300,000 men die to satisfy his delusional fantasy.....  and we have a lunatic in the west who is incapable of grasping any reality that would allow the lunatic in the east to be confronted.

Our world is stumbling toward a catastrophic collision as we attempt to deal with two lunatics.

Naomi's thoughts as she is on the flight to Karratha.....

We had an interesting situation with Kaylia this morning .... we were in the car and doing the usual nattering ..... Kaylia began coughing at the same time as we were speaking .... it was difficult to speak.  We'd stop speaking and she was quiet.  We'd start speaking again ... and she'd do the coughing again.  It was very annoying so we told her off for it.  She really took the reprimand to heart and had to be reassured that she was ok.  She doesn't understand social situations but at the same time her feelings can be hurt easily.

This is a recent project on the Landrover...... a storage compartment built into the fender.
