I can easily imagine that situation arising with Kaylia.... and if I had been there, I would have been unable to stop myself from trying to physically protect her. I would no doubt have tried to get between Kaylia and the policeman...... which would result in serious charges against me.
It's clear that the police are not trained to de-escalate.... to calm a situation. The first action taken appears to be the use of the taser! This action was HIGHLY inappropriate.
