#2286 Saturday 20th April

It has been a stressful week..... we've had to put the business into voluntary administration because of the debt required to survive the effect of COVID.  This means that the business continues to operate but an administratror controls the finances. It will mean that we have to sell our home and find some where to rent.

We will shield Kaylia from the stress as much as possible. She is accustomed to different houses because of holiday travel.....  as long as she is with us she will be able to cope.

The aim is to get the business into a successful functional position again.

#2285 Tuesday 16th April

Last night at bedtime kaylia and I were having our usual time and talking about coming special days.  We got to her 21st birthday next January..... I asked her what her favourite present was.  "Mummy" she says

#2284 Friday 12th April

She works at a sheltered workshop on Fridays and when I picked her up today she hopped in and said "Let's go boss!"  Kaylia has a very good sense of humour.

I was about to say "Sad day...." but I guess that's not really appropriate. Better to just remember what important contributions he made to our world.

#2282 Tuesday 9th April

We're in Busselton again for a little break.....  it's always a tour round the op shops on the way to and from.... and again while we're here.  Kaylia will take home about 35 DVDs.

Last week I took all the excess DVDs from her room..... it filled the back of the Landrover! The op shop in Midland was very happy to have the donation.

Wow....  water cascading down the sides of Uluru in all the rain. 

The desert will be a magical place in the coming days.  When I was living in that country, the time after rain was always special.

#2280 Wednesday 3rd April

Today I took a truckload of DVDs down to the salvos......  no I'm no joking..... it was the Landrover with the back FULL of DVDs.   The op shop was happy..... and in Kaylia's room we can now see the shelves that were hidden by the mountain of bags of DVDs.  

Luv this.......  it's real! The V8 motor sells for about $900.

For all the evils of FB, some parts are really good.  It manages to collect many videos of things from my past.... they keep me enthralled for hours.  And it's great for keeping in touch with people of similar interests.
