The water is off this morning .... the guys are installing a fire hydrant just across the street.  Cool!


Teddy got out while I was looking at it and he's gone next door.

#1117 Wednesday 18 March

The girl is growing up!  Each day there are little signs of reasoned behaviour and thoughtful actions ..... not to mention downright sneakiness.

..... and the weird thing for today is ...... first thing this morning, she wanted a COLD shower!!  She made sure the hot water is fully off ...... then danced around under the frigid water.  She doesn't get it from me!

The obsessing on "doctors" still goes on ..... less intense but still there.  Sometimes I'm sure she is doing it to get our reaction!

We've just arranged to go to Wave Rock for a night over Easter ..... Kaylia will love that!  She will head straight for the salty pool as soon as we arrive.

As we watch "Spics & Specs" Hannah and Callum are playing "chasey" with Teddy .... running round the room.

#1116 Monday 16 March

It's been a hard day ..... from 2am onward!   She actually woke herself up at that time to go to the toilet ..... a very positive thing ..... but then she stayed awake for a couple of hours ..... and kept asking if she could have a shower!!!

So tonight she has been very subdued ..... but she still wants her "tickle time"!

It was sad this afternoon..... Kaylia asked for  a person who was very close to her a couple of years ago ..... and who has chosen to not be available to Kaylia.  But Kaylia can't understand that ..... and it's not something that is easy to explain.

#1115 Sunday 14 March

It's been a Kaylia day .... the normal routine wasn't possible so we improvised.  She was happy most of the time but ran off the rails around 2pm.  A car trip ..... with playground time ..... fixed whatever was bothering her.  She's still obsessing on doctors.... our tactic is working but she's very stubborn.

Inline with our modified diet, we are now having delicious pizza .... using gluten free flour in the bread machine to prepare the base .... and adding the minimum additive toppings .... the results are superb.
