#1854 Saturday 28 July

Today Casey was pondering what Kaylia should do....  we suggested Bayswater Waves for swimming.  Kaylia looked thoughtful and went off without a comment.  She came back soon after.... all fired up for swimming!  It was as if she had forgotten about swimming and had to remember.

#1853 Friday 27 July

Last night we noticed that Kaylia was showing signs of an increase anxiety level..... we have decided to increase her nightly dose of Lovan to test whether it's an indication that her increased body weight has meant that the dose needs to go up.   She is now adult size and weight ....  if she hasn't finished her teenage growth, then she is going to be tall as an adult!

She is still nagging about "Bali at Christmas"  ..... and one of her class mates at school has used this as an anxiety trigger for her during school time.  The teachers are onto this to try and prevent it.

Speaking of Bali .... we have a gap of one week between guest bookings and we need an "owner's inspection visit" to ensure that all is OK for the guests ... so I'm going up on Sunday night to stay for a few days.  Kaylia won't be happy!

#1852 Wednesday 25 July

If you care about the impact that we humans have on the Earth's environment ......

.... you might consider donating to a campaign to combat the government's move to increase pollution from coal

DONATE

(Note: this is part of Kaylia's blog because if we fail to act NOW, then Kaylia will not have a clean environment to live in when she grows up!)

#1851 Sunday 22 July

It's been a pleasant day....  we drove up to Bindoon and arrived at the op shop with just 10 minutes before they closed.  Naomi was in for a power shop and emerged with the usual new dingle-dangle.

Then we drove a short distance to the Bindoon Cafe .... we hadn't been there before and it was good to watch Kaylia's ability to handle the restaurant scenario.  In recent times she has been much better at this.  In the early days we had to accept that restaurants were "out of bounds" for us as Kaylia just couldn't handle the delays and the noise ..... but now she handles it all with great aplomb!  She still punctuates proceedings with "School on Monday?"  ......  but it's no problem.

6pm  and it's story time!  I love listening to this ..... Naomi and Kaylia are in her room so we can hear it all from outside ..... and Kaylia is super excited!  She joins in at the gaps that Naomi leaves .... so it's an interactive story time.
