#1745 Saturday 13 January

The day began with a bath of course..... and after breakfast Elle played Snap and Uno for a while.

While this was going on, Harry and I put a fresh brew on.... a Coopers Mexican Cerveza.

Then Kaylia and Krew went for a drive to York. 

While they were away I worked on the project.  The "pulling system" is now in place and I'm waiting for 2 hydraulic jacks to arrive so the lifting can be completed. 

#1744 Thursday 11 January

Day One for Harry and Ellie ..... some local drives to familiarize and then they were off to Mundaring for shopping. Home again and it was baking time, walk, flop time .... it's been a good day.

Kaylia has accepted them in her usual way.  She certainly has no trouble with that.  Tomorrow will bring a therapy session for HandE to watch.......  HandE are certainly handy to have around :-)

Moving project .... I've been preparing 24mm diam rollers to go in the channel and have the beams roll along on them.  The chain-blocks are being prepared .... it's getting close.

#1743 Wednesday 10 January

It's 6:45am.... I can hear the taps running in the bath downstairs..... it's a new habit for Kaylia.... she just gets herself up and goes for a bath.  I'll go down and give her some bubbles.

#1742 Tuesday 9 January

On Sunday afternoon we met Harry and Ellie ..... Kaylia immediately "claimed" them .... and they are joining us tomorrow as our new aupair couple.  They are from Bedford in UK and have family in Perth.



Today has been therapy from 10 till 12 .....

.......   and now she is in the bath again!

#1741 Sunday 7 January

I'm quite intrigued by the CVT gearbox that is in Naomi's Honda Jazz and I was researching it.  One of the reader comments about it was that he was having trouble with the CVT in his car ..... he said it would only work during the daytime.  He said he was selecting the right settings.... D for day and N for night......

Kaylia's looping has now progressed to "school on Wednesday... 3 weeks"
