#1243 Thursday 5 May

It's 4:30am ..... I was woken by terrible screaming and I thought it was Kaylia  .... but fortunately it wasn't!  It was two cats fighting in our driveway .... about 15 meters from our window.  I went out and chased them away ..... but now I'm wide awake.  

Yesterday Naomi and I took Kaylia to see an orthopedic surgeon ...... we've been concerned about her posture and spinal shape for a while.  He says that she has kyphosis and while it's not dangerous to her in future, it can be corrected ..... if she will tolerate wearing a brace.  So she is booked in to a clinic to try it.  She may actually like it .... we'll just have to wait and see.

We're trying to find a song that Kaylia wants ...... it goes "da tidle la, tidle la" .....and it's Justin Beiber!  Good luck!!

..... and now she's found her way to "One Direction" ..... when it started she erupted in excitement!! We've never seen her quite that excited ..... she was break-dancing in her way ..... and running round the room .... and she has just done a running jump on top of Tom!!  OOOF!

#1243 Sunday 1 May

Today has been another day of gathering office furniture ..... which Kaylia loves cos it means lots of driving round!

Lately we've noticed that she's become much better at entertaining herself.  Admittedly it's mostly stimmy type activity ..... but it's better than nothing.  It makes life much easier for us.

She also likes to spend time sitting on her bed .... and she likes one of us to be there too for company.
