#674 Saturday 6 July

You probably heard of "the big wet" in the outback?   Well ... it ain't got nuffink on us!  Kaylia has just wet the bed BIG TIME ..... right through all the multiple waterproof layers.   

Well ... The day is almost over ... Kaylia has had a good day (according to Brynn.) Naomi and I have both been working and didn't see much of her.  

#673 Friday 5 July

The medication experiment is over .... tick another box for something that doesn't work.   We stopped it yesterday and she slept well again last night.  Just as well as I was finding it tough going.

She's had a good day at school and she's now in "shower mode".

#672 Thursday 4 July

4th of July ..... it was a good night for K to go off like a firecracker!  She was bbaaaaadddd last night.   She crashed after tea and was out like a light ..... but then she woke about 2am and went downstairs ..... and she was noisy!!  Talk about a heffalump!   She finally came back to bed about 4am but wanted to shower ..... so I spent the next 2 hours trying to keep her quiet so Naomi could sleep.  Now .... at 6:30 .... she seems to have gone to sleep!

Sheesh!

Evening

It's been a long day ..... very hard to think through the fog of tiredness.  And yet K had a really good day!  Go figure!

Tonight she got herself in the sin bin .... she was enjoying the foot spa and then she calmly reached down and tipped the spa over!!  Water all over the lounge room floor .... I was not happy and she knew it.  She was rather subdued after that.

#671 Wednesday 3 July

It's 6:30pm ..... K and I are in bed ... she's already asleep and I'm almost there too!  Last night was the pits.  The new medicine gets the thumbs down.  She was grotty again today .... it could have been from the bad night but we won't wait to find out.

#670 Tuesday 2 July

"I've been an angel."       I was greeted with this by Kaylia yesterday!  

Clearly Brynn had been impressed by her performance during therapy .  This is a big "tick in the box" for the medicine!  ... and undisturbed sleep last night has been good too .... 

Evening

Sheeesh!  So much for that idea.  This afternoon makes an average of the 2 days just ok.   It was stressful and hard work ..... and I was really just a spectator!

Interesting ..... with the full dose, the night time woes are gone .... and maybe the appetite is less?  Time will tell.

She slept well last night and didn't wake at 3am.

#958 Sunday 30 June

Last day of the fin year!  Now the work begins.

Kaylia slept quite well last night ..... she still woke around 3am and was up for about an hour .... but she was good. After day 1 of full dose we can now try to assess any possible good results.

I think she was actually calmer last night  .... still awake but calmer.  Now to see if there's any difference in her daytime behaviour.
