It's not just the dvds though.... it has been an interesting week. On Monday one of the therapy staff went to school to observe. (Kaylia has been sent home a few times recently and this is not normal for her..... what's going on?)
The observation was that Kaylia was being bullied in class by another student.... it was a very subtle method that wasn't seen by the teaching staff.... and it meant that Kaylia had an increasing frustration level that eventually boiled over!
As a result, Kaylia was taught assertive behavior to manage the bullying..... and staff were alerted to the situation. Kaylia is clearly much happier.
