#1230 Friday 8 April

Last night we had a meeting with Kaylia's school staff .... to set the goals for her at school.  The goals are largely social ..... to improve ability to cope in social situations.   The school has been impressed by her keen attitude and good behavior.

To attend, Naomi and I had to leave the bedtime routine in CC's hands ..... the meeting was at 7pm ...... and CC handled it brilliantly.   Kaylia coped with the change in routine well and just took herself off to bed at the right time.  She's a gem!
While all this was going on, Tom was at football training in Mundaring.  He can home about 9pm with a HUGE lump on his shin ..... the result of a collision with another player.  It looks as if it will be a bad bruise today.

#1299 Wednesday 6 April

I've identified the guitar .... it's a Washburn WD10CE
The current new price is around $300.  My bargain guitar is in excellent condition and I've now restrung it and adjusted the nut and saddle so that it's playing really well.   I'm very pleased with it .... especially as it coincides with the arrival of CC and T ..... T plays and carries his Gretsch guitar with him!

So I've also restrung my mandolin and we're headed for some enjoyable jam sessions. CC plays keyboard too .... Woo hoo!

#1298 Tuesday 5 April

Excitement today ...... last night I noticed a beaut "freebie" on Gumtree ..... a Washburn guitar!  ..... needing a bit of fixing.  I rang first thing in the morning and got it!
It's in good condition and so far I've restrung it and Kaylia and I have been having a singing session.  She remembers all the songs despite it being about two years since we were regularly having the sing songs.

CC and T are settling in well .... no one has been lost yet. Tom has done a training session for working at the office.

#1297 Sunday 3 April

Cecelia and Tom arrived today ..... within 2 hours Kaylia had "assumed ownership" and was dragging them round for tickle sessions.  I think CC and T will have a good time with us .... and we will enjoy having them.

Kaylia is very happy ..... it's now the norm!   It's now unusual for her to be unhappy.

During recent "Dr Daddy" teeth sessions I have seen 2 new teeth coming through ... one is a molar but the other one is a premolars in a very bad place.  I think it will need some serious attention.   She has her next dental visit in September..... and she's getting excited already!
