The little girl has a sore knee ... we don't know why ... there's no visible injury but she is limping quite noticeably and she says that it hurts. We're trying some anti-inflammatory to see if that has any effect.
Tonight Naomi was cheerfully doing her operatic singing (good mood) and when she paused .... we could hear Kaylia singing the same way! She's a hoot at times.

It's 6am ..... I'm trying to work out if my earache is bad enough to get out of my warm bed and go downstairs to get some Panadol. I suppose that if I have to think about it, I shouldn't ..... or is it that if I'm awake enough to ask myself then I should! Sheesh.
Blogging is still the strange phenomenon that I discussed about a year ago .... my blogging is controlled by the available time for writing. When I consider Mr Pepys' blog from two hundred years ago, he clearly devoted large blocks of time to the task ..... didn't he have to work? Life was so utterly different then.
Kaylia had a bad day at school yesterday. I'll talk to the teachers today but (from what has been relayed via Kat) it seems Kaylia needed Lovan at around 11am but they waited some time to see if she could recover. I'll try to explain that the "top up system" works best if administered as soon as the anxiety behaviour is noticed. At that point, the Lovan will allow her to recover within 10 minutes. If delayed, then the anxiety becomes like a feedback loop and she gets more and more affected ...... extra Lovan at that point doesn't have anywhere near the efficacy.
The search for aupair #12 continues. We're talking to several but we're not close to a decision yet.

10am. Wow .... What a magical morning! While driving to school there was a fog .... usual in that it was thick at ground level but rapidly thinned above. So the lighting was very unusual .... the were many magical photo opportunities. The traffic didn't permit me to suddenly stop and take the photos .... but the "camera in my mind" took them. I just wish that it had an export function!
At one point the land to the east of the Roe Hwy was a sea of fog with shrubs poking through.

Time has escaped me! It doesn't help that we've been very busy with business. (that's the sort of thing that Owl would say to Pooh Bear!)
Today I have been buying desks for a possible additional office venue ..... This may not happen this week .. but I figure that it has to happen sometime and when it does, we need desks.
Kaylia begins therapy with a new therapist tomorrow. It will be at home again rather than down in the office. Kaylia loves going to the office to play.
I'm a little sick at present .... Earache .... The doctor thinks there may be a perforated eardrum. Antibiotics and painkillers.
My latest doodad from EBay came today .... a torch that can be focused. It's really cool.
I think I'm addicted to EBay.

On Saturday morning the network wireless router died. (Poor thing). It choose a good day to die because one of the retail shops was having a sale .... I bought a new one for 30% of the usual price!
But the new one won't connect my laptop to the network .... their 24/7 helpline was useless ..... The guru said "I can't fix it". So ..... IT headaches again.
Bedtime: the solution to the IT problem may be at hand ..... an updated driver for Windows XP. Of course it is messy to actually get the driver onto the laptop without an Internet connection! Tomorrow.
The mail today brought a new doo-dad for the iPhone ..... a 60x microscope! I'm constantly amazed by the inexpensive things that I can get on EBay.
It's now 7pm and Kaylia is in her groove. She's happy.

A good day. After the routine Sunday morning pancakes we headed off to the swimming pool. We tried a new one .... Bayswater Waves Pool .... Excellent! We'll be back.
Then it was a lunch out.... at Sizzlers.
Kaylia loved it. She was beside herself with excitement.
She finished with chocolate ice cream and marshmallows .... what a mess!
Bed time
Kaylia loves the little torches we have. She's been in fits of giggles at seeing the effect of shining the light through her cheek or my cheeks......
..... and then we have the "werewolf eyes"!
..... or the flames in the mouth .....
She giggled and giggled!
