Kaylia spent the morning at the pool .... and then she went to a garage sale with me!  It was a good one ..... lots of little bits & pieces that will be useful for constructing the grey water system I plan to build soon.

Then this evening it's "trick or treat"!

This is Wendy and kids .... from down the road.  ...... and after all the preparation we had only the one visit!

Kaylia's introduction to BCC (high school) went very well ..... it sounds as if it was very similar to the Friendship Club that she loves ..... so she'd be very happy.  She has 2 more half day sessions and then a full day session ..... then she should be very comfortable with the real thing next year.

I go to Centrelink today to see about becoming a pensioner! Now that my work sources have ceased, we need to find a boost to the family income.

Tomorrow is the first of several transition days for Kaylia ..... she's really going to high school!  She's growing up so fast

Phew!  Tonight during tea she had a bad giggles attack ...... it was hard work to calm her enough for a mouthful of food at a time.  After tea we brought out the big guns ..... a car ride!   It works.  Now she's calm again and still very happy.

During her therapy session this afternoon, I could hear her doing her darnedest to manipulate the situation to get her desired result ...... "Therapy finish?"  She was trying many different approaches ...... but the funny thing is that before therapy starts,  she really looks forward to the session.

We're at Auntie Nettie's .... Kaylia's in the spa bath ..... singing away with bubbles up to her neck!   Soon she'll decide that she's had enough and say "Car!!"

This afternoon we are having a second visit with a prospective new aupair couple #21! .... we liked Camille on her first visit .... now it is a second visit to see if the 'chemistry' works with Michael as well.
