Time has slipped by again ..... the time in Busselton was very pleasant with Kaylia sleeping in late each day!  This was greatly appreciated!  On Thursday we indulged in a tour of chocolate and fudge suppliers ..... gathering supplies for a "tasting plate" in the evening.   The challenge of finding gluten free food has added an extra zest to our menu planning ..... we were even able to work out the safe Chinese food to eat.

Today Kaylia will have swimming in the morning followed by bath time!! How unusual!

It's been op-shop heaven today ..... we all enjoy it so much.  There are several op-shops around town and we spent time in each.

#1238 Tuesday 6 October

We're off to Busselton today ........ Kaylia has been counting down the days.  It's fortunate that car travel is so good for her.  We haven't found a travel distance that is too far for her ..... she loves it.

It's a pity that her therapy and school demand that we stay in one place .... it would be great to go on the road and just travel.

Later:  it was a very good trip .... we had time to fill before we could check in at the resort ..... so we stopped at an op-shop in Pinjarra and then at the Havey Cheese Factory. At Bunbury we stopped for lunch and then cruised along the beachfront road.

After checking in Kaylia was very excited to be back.

#1237 Sunday 4 October

Wot a nite!!!

She was up at 2am with a wet bed ..... settled again ...... up at 4am ...... settled again ...... up at 6am ..... and this time she'd decided that mummy and daddy had had enough ..... "Shower!"   I stalled for 20 minutes then got her into the shower.  She's still there .... sitting on the floor ....,singing her head off ......  under a cold shower!  She's happy.

It's good that she's learnt to negotiate for what she wants .... this will make life much better in the future.
