#1242 Friday 29 April

It's 5:30pm and Kaylia has finally recovered from an hour long bout of some sort of pain.  It's very distressing because we don't know what it is .... we just have help her get through it.

#1241 Wednesday 27 April

First day back at school!   Kaylia was very excited and could hardly wait to get out of the car when she arrived.  It's such a pleasure to see her enjoyment of school ..... school was always a bad experience for me .... from Year 1 to Year 12.

This evening she's very mellow and happy..... and doing the chicken dance with Tom and CC!

Naomi's brother David arrived today ... after cycling from Brisbane via Broken Hill.  With the hot weather it has been a really  bad trip and he has lost 20kg in weight!  There were many stories .... such as the night the fox stole his phone and chewed it up.

#1240 Monday 25 April

Kaylia is still suffering with the cold  ..... and most of the adults are suffering with it too.  Normally Kaylia loves being in the car but yesterday I have her a choice of being in the car while I did car jobs ..... or going inside for a sleep.  She chose the latter!

Today it's raining and she still has 2 days before she can go to school again.

I've noticed lately that she is experimenting with using some slang speech ...... very quietly but appropriately.
