#930 Saturday 1 June

First of the new month ......

I saw the new month in this morning .... after waking for Kaylia's "wee run" I haven't been able to get back to sleep .... it's now 2:30am and I'm downstairs trying to persuade Microsoft to update one of the laptops ... without success.

#929 Friday 31 May

3pm and all's well.   Kaylia has had a good time today with Brynn ..... it's a very cold day so we're sitting in front of the fire.   Kaylia is quite partial to the fire .... which is surprising given the way she doesn't seem to notice the cold.

7pm and we're snuggled in bed where it's nice and warm.  Early bedtimes are the norm these days .... it suits Kaylia and it suits me.  I get very tired with the work day followed by the afternoon/evening routines.

There's a storm brewing ..... and not just in the weather!  Kaylia has a "pupil-free day" from school tomorrow ..... this means a break in routine ..... this often causes a stormy day.

Happy birthday Brynn! (She's no longer a teenager!) Tonight we'll all go to Sizzlers to celebrate.

Kaylia's therapy yesterday was good  .... or so I'm told ...... I slept through the session! The "ol codger sleeps" are becoming the norm these days.

This blog will be very important in future years ...... for Kaylia to keep her memories alive .... and for us to remember her childhood.  The past few years have been a real battle but it feels as though we're past the worst of it .... now the intriguing thing is to wonder just how far she will progress!

It was 2am ..... she was fast asleep .... and she calls out ... "OFFICE PLEASE!"

Sad .....  Brynn has just given us an "end date" ..... she will be leaving August 9th.

Full moon ..... she has been NAGGING NAGGING all day .....  she gets the  1- 2 - 3 and into your room ..... then when she comes out she's back on the treadmill.  I hope she sleeps OK tonight.  I'm frazzled and I think Naomi is too.
