#1879 Saturday 8 September

Today Kaylia has had 2 sessions of bubble bath and a trip to Kings Park. 

She was a "bit over it" with Kings Park ..... she just wanted to be in the car!  ..... and now she has a mild temperature so maybe that's what was going on.




















 I like this photo .... it captures the spirit of Kaylia at this stage of her life ....

Teddy has had a haircut and he's a new dog!  .....  and I'm sleeping lots 'cos I'm an old dog!  Seeing that I don't have much hair to start with, giving me a haircut just doesn't make that much difference.

 The government has given us FOUR DAYS  to make submissions on these proposed laws.  If it weren't so appalling it would be .......

#1877 Monday 3 September

It has been an exciting morning!   The Morrison Road office was disrupted by a car accident on the road in front. A 4WD ran into the power pole and snapped the pole at the base.  Of course that vehicle was a mess ...... but then another car smashed into the pole lying on the road!

So the office is without power .... and so no phone, no internet.  It will be some hours till the pole is replaced and power reconnected.

#1875 Saturday 1 September

Another tree has fallen over!  This time it was the lovely mulberry tree that we have enjoyed so much.

The rain has softened the earth so much that the roots have no strength.

It's Father's Day... and Kaylia is very proud of herself!  

I wish you could see her behaviour.....  she is clearly aware that she has done something good and she's very pleased with it.

It's a mug.... and I call it my "Monet mug" because the painting   that she has made is sort of that style ..... it's filled with chocolate biscuit balls. 

.....  and in the card that she made, she wrote 

              "To dad... I love you to the moon."
