#1066 Saturday 3 January

Today the internet woes continued ..... I thought it had been fixed yesterday but ..... no, internet access stopped all night.  This morning the tech support decided that the 2 week old modem was faulty and should be replaced ....... then I realised that a wifi range extender was the culprit ...... but the modem is still faulty.  So a new modem is on the way and we're using our old one till the replacement arrives.

While all this was going on, Kaylia was off at the movies with mummy ..... it was a good morning.  After lunch, Naomi went off to the op shop while Kaylia spent hours on the computer looking at photos and watching a Playschool movie.

Oops .... she now has another wibbly-wobbly tooth ..... the same one on the other side.  No doubt she will work it out today.  Her lack of sensitivity to pain is a help here ..... she just pulls it out.

This morning we will pack up, clean up and return to Darlington.

It's good to be home again... where the internet flows free ....

Kaylia is in the outside bath again .... she's always happy to be in her own space again.

Over the past three weeks I'd reduced her dose of Risperdal by one third ..... and we feel that she's not showing any sign of needing the full dose..... so we're going to reduce the dose again while she's at home on school holidays. We had always hoped that her self-awareness would improve to a level that would allow her to go off the Risperdal .... maybe we've reached that point.  I hope so.

Welcome to the new year!  As usual at 7 in the morning, Kaylia is watching iview.... using me as a pillow.  Each of us is on our iThing ..... doing our own iThing.

Evening

It's been a quiet day .... playground.... sleeping..... eating.  Tomorrow we go home to Darlington and it will be great to be in our own internet again .... the mobile data reception here is terrible. Kaylia has adopted a new word .... "loading" ..... for all the time waiting for a webpage to load.

New Years Eve

It's been a couple of days since the last entry in the blog ..... this would have to be the most relaxed holiday we've had in ages ..... Kaylia is so happy and chilled .... most of the time she is entertaining herself! This is a huge step .... till now she has relied on other people to keep herself occupied.   As a result Naomi and I are having a relaxing time reading and sleeping.

Yesterday we visited Aunty Maxine ... about 40 minutes drive away .... Kaylia was clearly wanting to be back at Yanchep!  

She loves the hammock .... it's strung up in a very shady spot out the front and catches all the breezes ..... Kaylia flops around in it for ages.

Kaylia had a wobbly tooth tonight....




 I wibbled  and wobbled and pulled it out!


Then    ...... I swallowed the tooth!

#1062 Sunday 28 December

Wow .... 3 bars of reception on the phone! We're at the park again.  Kaylia chose park over the beach .... for some reason the house is in a mobile phone dead spot .... so when we go to the park and we can do email and blog.

Kaylia currently wants to climb .....

Later Ross & Raylene visited .... a bit strange to have them visiting their own house!

We're relaxing heaps .... Kaylia loves the hammock out the front .... so we gather round under the shady trees .... sitting in recliners.  If we were any more chilled, we'd have icicles dangling off!
