#2272 Friday 8th March

Today is very unusual.....  Kaylia didn't want to go to work!  This is such a strange thing that we decided that it must be real.  She said that she had a headache.  So she's spent the day in bed.

(Later..... at 6pm she had a temperature of 39.8  ..... so she's definitely not well.)

I'm still struggling with a problem with Bob.....  I can't turn off the parking lights.  .....  I can't figure out what I've done to cause this.  It wasn't a problem until the past few days so it's clearly something that I've done in that time.   In my distraction I find it hard to remember what I've done. It's not helped by the fact that the person who wired up the vehicle has used red wires for everything!  (instead of different colours for different circuits.)

#2271 Monday 4th March

I've exhausted myself.....  I'm taking the sump off the Landrover (to fix an oil leak) and there are two bolts in a very tight spot.... too tight to fit a normal 13mm socket. So I'm trying all sorts of tools to get at it.  The position is one that is physically straining and I've done as much as I can do for now..... Rest.

#2270 Sunday 3rd March

This week has been one where I've been thankful for having RAC membership! Last Friday 23rd, the Subaru broke down with a dead alternator..... the car had to be towed to the repairers.  While there they found that large repairs to the brakes were also needed.  The bill came to $3,000..... Ouch!

Then today I went down to Bunnings and found the car to be overheating.  The radiator top tank has separated from the core.  Drat.

It's interesting to note Kaylia's reactions when my routine isn't what she expects..... she gets worried and needs reassurance that all is OK.
