#687 Saturday 21 September

I know it's getting monotonous ..... but she's had a good day again! Whiteman Park with Jo in the morning .... with train rides .... followed by shower and bath and then time with mummy.  What more can a little girl ask for?

I commented to Naomi that I'm getting a real feeling of satisfaction that we are giving her a happy childhood and a good start to life.  It's good.

#686 Friday 20 September

After a very good night Kaylia has had a good day .... swimming lessons!  She's got a cold again .... I hope she gets over it soon.

Now it's 7:30pm and she's snuggling on the bed with YouTube .... and mummy and daddy!  Lately she's delighting in making up songs with Naomi .... she sings along and fills in all the gaps with the right words .... she's good!

The other day I had cause (once again) to be thankful for all the work we've put in with Kaylia's therapy .... we saw a child that was similar to Kaylia's level of A .... but no therapy had been done.   The result was very sad.

We can now confidently predict that Kaylia will grow and become a very pleasant person who will be a delight to live with.  Her eventual ability levels are still difficult to predict .... the signs are good enough that we can have realistic hope .... time will tell.

#685 Thursday 19 September

Oooo wot a nite!   Once again she was up from 3 to 6:30.   She likes to sing and make noise when she is awake ... so she takes herself downstairs.   I had a bad night sleeping as well so it's fortunate that she has a "school free day" .... we can sleep in.  It's now 8:30 and she is still asleep.

10:00am and she's still asleep!

She's had a good day!

#684 Wednesday 18 September

We can really notice the effect of the full moon .... tomorrow!  As usual, she has been agitated at night and not sleeping well.  We used Melatonin last night and she was "out like a light" but restless in her sleep.

This morning she resisted getting out of bed!  .... not that I blame her .... it is warm in bed and cold out!

#683 Tuesday 17 September

It's a sign of the times .... here it is on Tuesday evening and I haven't written anything for 2 days!

Kaylia has been sleeping well and she is very happy.  A new development though .... she has begun to resist doing a wee at midnight!  I now have to insist that she stays there ..... she has the "wherewithal" but lacks the inclination.  ..... and if I don't insist, then a wet bed will be the result.


This afternoon she has had a good walk around the quarry with Jo ... 

#682 Sunday 15 September

Last night was bad ..... Kaylia was very unsettled and took herself downstairs at about 3:30am.  She played for a few hours and came back to bed around 6:30.  As a result she is suffering today.  While we were at Maxine's she rested in bed .... and now that we're back home she's upset and crying.  We try to get her to rest but she is too upset for that.
