In the background I can hear kaylia singing to herself.....  she is very pleasant to have around.  As long as she has her future scheduled ..... so she can relax.  

Isn't this amazing.... a photo of the ISS taken from another space station..... with a volcano below.  .....and to think that all this has become possible in our lifetime.

#2442 Monday 22nd December

Ha! A cousin in the northern hemisphere wished me a snowy Christmas..... that has only happened once in my life..... 1957 it snowed on Christmas day in West Australia. This Christmas is going to be the norm .... 40deg. We've all packed up and headed south to Busselton. It's  a good place for Christmas 

I'm gradually adjusting to the new world order. I feel that the all my life there has been a basic safeguard of the US..... that the US basically could be relied on for "goodness" in the world. That feeling has been ripped away and now we have to find a new source of sanity.

I think it will take many decades to undo the damage that the GOP has done to the US..... and I wonder if repairing the damage will even be possible.

(I've just been squashed by my 22 yo daughter..... she has severe autism and she will be our baby girl for the rest of my days with her! She is more like a 10yo in a grown up body.)
