#2110 Monday 8th August

Lezette (who helps with Kaylia's online) is away today.... she has COVID.  So Kaylia and I went for a good drive this morning..... out to York, then along the back road to Spencer's Brook.... then to Clackline and home.

The canola crops are spectacular at this time.  This photo is looking down the length of Mt Bakewell .... on the north side.

#2109 Sunday 7th August

Sunday morning at Kalamunda Dome! Next will be the op shop nearby...... and then we drive to Balcatta to visit two op shops there..... and then to Morley for another op shop.  (It's a hard life!)

Part of the op shop routine is that Naomi gathers stock for the new business..... "Curve Style" ..... Kaylia is learning how to fold and pack clothes for despatch to the buyers.  We employ a 'tutor' to train Kaylia in the processes involved.

Sunday afternoons are when I have a couple of hours of shed time.  .... and the three chooks stick close by.

#2108 Monday 1st August

In general, Kaylia is going well.  The meds are keeping her calm most of the time .... this morning she's a bit stressed as it is "business day" where she is being taught how to manage her new online clothing business.  A helper is employed to assist her in the business and we hope that the enterprise will grow.

The engineer's inspection of "Bob" on the 18th was so-so.... it didn't pass as the amount of 'lift' is too much.  So my task is to reduce the amount that the body has been raised above normal.  The problem is that the systems don't really cater for Bob as he  is a Range rover with a Landrover body ..... so which 'normal height' is to be applied?

#2107 Sunday 17th July

Sometimes Kaylia can just be a s****  teenager.  She wants us to put dates of events onto her calendar.....  even if we don't know the date. It gets a bit wearing.

We came home from Busselton on Thursday and life is cruising. Tomorrow I'll take the beast in for the inspection by the engineer. Assuming all goes well, the next step will be the registration inspection.

#2106 Wednesday 13th July

It's pool time.  Kaylia is swimming and I'm supervising.  Kaylia is very easygoing at the moment...... it feels a bit as though we're having a holiday.  The constant stress of managing her behavior was very hard to take ..... and without that stress we can relax a bit.

#2105 Tuesday 12th July

Kaylia is smoothly doing her thing ..... she always wants to re-visit all her past places .... to make sure that her world is OK.  She's had a couple of pool sessions and today we toured some op shops..... tea tonight was at the Ship Hotel with Mim and Steve as usual.   It was a bit sad as the venue has "gone to pot"!   The menu has been stripped to be a very few choices ..... and the service from staff has had a similar treatment.

#2104 Saturday 9th July

I guess that it's a sign that things are going well when I forget to write..... and things are going well!  The medication mix that kaylia is on seems to be about right...... she hasn't had an "attack" all week and she's settling to sleep easily in the evening.  It's good for us too.

The work on Bob is going well too.  I've finished the trailer connector wiring.... including the electric brake controller.  Today I've been working on a new rear bumper that will have a swing-away spare wheel bracket.  Next week will be zero action as we're going to Busselton.  And the the following week will hopefully see the engineer's report done.
