#690 Wednesday 5 September

Well .... we made it.
The trip turned into a bit of a saga at the end .... it looks as if she didn't need the sedation this trip.  In the usual way, we had given her Painstop to make her sleepy .... she was OK during the flight and right up till we were waiting in line for passport processing on arrival in Bali .... and she then began to get quite anxious.  It increased and became quite a bad time for her ... and us!  The fellow passengers were really good to us and all gave way and moved us to the front of the queue to cut down the processing time.  By the time we got through customs and were in the car, she was in a bad way.  The traffic was very slow and we were madly trying to get her to think about the coming time in the villa with the pool and her toys .... to no avail.  A second top up of Lovan made a bit of a difference but she was in a bad way.
.
When we reached the villa, she was able to put herself into her night time routine and recover.  Now we have had tea at Pizza Hut and she is in stimmy-toy mode.  I think she will sleep well tonight.  While driving to Pizza Hut she was 'telling' us about "Peek a Boo" ... she will go there tomorrow.
.
It's 8pm and I'm filling in time till it's time to go to the airport to collect Zoe.  The radio is tuned to a Bali FM radio ... it's playing a nice rindik.
The villa has a few maintenance items needed ..... another of the taps has given up the ghost.  I have the spares needed though.  Ketut (gardener .... Putu's husband) has begun work on constructing the bamboo pool fence.  It will be a set of panels that can be erected when desired .... stored in the garage when not needed.
Naomi is cheerful ... it looks as though we may have another two villa bookings!  It will be very good when we can get the occupancy rate to a desired level.
.
BTW way, the blog has recently passed a bit of a milestone .... it has been read more than 20,000 times!
