Therapy was good yesterday. She's progressing really well and it's time to re-vamp her program already. This happens whenever she has reached a point of 100% success at all exercises. The new program then develops new challenges for her.
The work on social development is paying off .... she is learning to play games ... and loving it. She is playing at "shopping" and learning the language to use and the social cues. Once again, this is all stuff that is normally just absorbed by a child as they grow .... but Kaylia has to be taught because the observing/learning switch is still "off" in many areas. The switch is "on" for many things but not all.
One of the many things that are still a source of wonder to me is the ability to give Kaylia a verbal instruction and have her listen to the instruction, understand it and carry it out. This is amazing! Not long ago we would struggle to gain her attention .... then try and make her understand ..... and then she might or might not do it.
