#1889 Wednesday 26 September

Today Kaylia had her first "Friendship Club" for these school holidays.  These groups are at Autism West in Fremantle  and are usually a half day session.  Kaylia loves them .... and she is well loved there too.  Today the group was making play dough sculptures ... and of course Kaylia made 'dingle-dangles'!  She has 3 more sessions during the holidays.

Today I went along to show Casey how to find the Autism West centre ..... and after dropping Kaylia there, I then caught the train back to Midland ..... leaving Casey to stay and bring Kaylia home after lunch.  While on the train I got talking to a fellow passenger ... it turns out that he goes to Cambodia to help build houses.  I asked about the tools used and he said that the  Cambodian government doesn't allow them to bring any tools into the country ..... so all their building work is done without tools!  They drill holes in timber by hand ..... holding the drill bit and turning it!   Incredible.   I'm afraid I couldn't tolerate that.

On Sunday we will be going down to Busselton for a two day stay at the Sebel resort ..... this is the place we nearly always go .... partly because we have club membership there ... but mainly because it combines all the factors that Kaylia loves ...  while being a constant routine for her.  She luurrvves the indoor pool and spa there.
