#692 Friday 26 July

Morning:  Today I had the task of completing all the usual business work ... from Bali.  I managed to start on the job while Kaylia was sleeping in .... and finished all the 'time critical' parts before she woke.  From then on it was plain sailing to finish all the other parts while fitting in with Kaylia's needs.

At lunch time we went to Parahanya again .... Kaylia loves the rice and the drinks ... and the feeling of being in control. She can go to the cabinet and get a drink when she needs one.

In the afternoon we have been slowly packing up ... ready for a 6:30am trip to the airport tomorrow.  The flight is at 9:00am ....  Kaylia knows what's going on ... she has packed her bag with "pink pillow" and "white pillow" and her dingle-dangles.

.... with much pool time too!  Kaylia and her balls!

Between Putu, Ketut and myself, we have worked out a new water-proofing method for the roof of the villa  .... we can buy rolls of rubberised sheeting with aluminum on one side ..... we have experimented and this can be stuck to the flat concrete roof using the normal water-proofing compound.  It should produce a durable, waterproof layer that is easy to maintain.  The water-proofing is a constant problem .... the original materials used for the roof are very poor quality.
