#693 Saturday 27 July

Air-Delaysia!  It's struck again.  Flight delayed by three and a half hours ..... fortunately the Prada Lounge is here and we've settled for the duration.   Kaylia has been great so far .... she's sitting next to the fish tank with her blanket and pillows.  Every now and then she goes and refills her juice glass.

10am and all is well ... K has been wanting "plane". .... she just wants to look at the plane .... the trouble is that the only viewing window looks out onto an area of tarmac where there are no planes parked!

11am    Time is dragging.  K is doing well.  I'm resorting to EBay!

Evening

The flight home was perfect from K's POV ..... but the departure was amazing! We had been checking the messages .... even asked the staff to call Air Asia .. we finally went the  'gate' 20 minutes before we were sposed to ..... and found mayhem at the gate! A queue about 100 metres long ..... when we finally reached the departure area, we were rushed through security and straight out to the plane.  We were literally the last on board and they slammed the door and started the engines!  

Kaylia was beautifully behaved for the whole flight and for customs etc on arrival.  She "lost it" after we arrived home ... the tiredness hit her.  It's taken quite a while to settle her but she's asleep now.
